We are excited this year to welcome back Dr. Theresa Farnan to St. Catherine’s Faith and Love Conference! Dr. Farnan is a leading expert on Transgender movement and is a founding member of the Person and Identity Project, which provides theological and pastoral resources about the Church’s teaching on gender ideology to Catholic educators and diocesan personnel. Dr Farnan received her master’s degree and her doctorate in Medieval Studies from the University of Notre Dame. She has taught at St Paul Seminary in Pittsburgh, Franciscan University of Steubenville, and Mount St. Mary’s Seminary (where she taught Fr. Neil). She has also served as a consultant to the USCCB Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth and is a member of the Catholic Women’s Forum Advisory Council. Dr. Farnan and her husband Michael have ten children.
Due to the nature of the topic, we are hoping to provide the conference to as many people as possible. We have received donations that will help subsidize the cost of the conference, so we will not charge for tickets. To accommodate as many people as possible for this event, we will be having two identical sessions. You can sign up for the morning session or the afternoon session. Seating is limited, so please be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible.
