Mozart Requiem
Mozart’s Requiem: a masterpiece of sorrow, hope, and transcendence performed live.
The Cathedral Choir of Christ the King will present Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem, one of the most significant and enduring masterworks of choral music. Shrouded in mystery and revered for its depth and poignancy, the Requiem stands as a pinnacle of sacred music, offering audiences an experience that is both transcendent and profoundly moving. The Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Dr. Michael Accurso, continues to grow in distinction, earning acclaim on its recent European performance tour this past summer. Their performance of Mozart’s monumental work in the magnificent sanctuary of the Cathedral promises to be an unforgettable evening of artistry and inspiration.
The concert will take place in the Cathedral of Christ the King and include a 10-minute intermission. Purchase tickets at the event website.
