Pinecrest Academy Paladin Pacer 5k Trail Race and Fun Run
Pinecrest Academy will host a fun event on Saturday, September 14 — the sixth annual Paladin Pacer 5K Trail Race and Fun Run. Open to the community, from avid runners to occasional walkers, the Pacer is a great family event.
The Paladin Pacer began in 2019 as a 5K road race along Peachtree Parkway in Cumming. The event was moved onto the Pinecrest Academy campus in 2022 and transitioned to a trail race event. The cross-country trail on the PA campus has proven to be a perfect location, with great scenery and an interesting route that includes some challenging hills.
The Fun Run portion of the event is a one-mile trek around the school driveway. It’s perfect for children and walkers.
A variety of table sponsors will be on-site, including The Quest Atlanta Catholic Radio. All participants receive a t-shirt, and awards will be presented, recognizing overall and age group winners. Priests and consecrated women will be among our runners and walkers, along with students of all ages, and cross-country athletes.
