The Nativity of John the Baptist Celebration
Join us to celebrate the eve of St. John the Baptist’s birthday! After Mass, we’ll gather for the blessing of the bonfire followed by food, fun games, and a dunk tank. We will have live music on the plaza and an incredible fireworks finale! Catholics and friends from around the area are invited to experience this beautiful Mass and these very old traditions lived anew here at Mary Our Queen. It should be a wonderful evening, so be sure to invite your neighbors!

- THE FIDDLER AND THE FLUTIST from Charlotte, North Carolina, will provide live music on our plaza.
- Snow cones, popcorn, watermelon, and s’mores
- Honey & “locust” tasting
- Fireworks, dunk tank, water play area
- Glow fun, sparklers, flower crowns
- Visit with “John the Baptist” (our guest of honor)
- Receive the Benedictus Award if you can recite the Canticle of Zechariah
