Young Catholic Professionals Speaker Series – Hope is the First Virtue
As the Jubilee Year of Hope comes to a close, you’re invited to explore how hope is the foundation for all other virtues and why it’s so important to be near people whose lives are filled with it. You’ll explore the beautiful connection between hope, gratitude, and joy, and learn about the greatest gift of all: how giving what we have and who we are opens us up to receiving it. This is a chance to be inspired by powerful stories and leave with a deeper understanding of how to live a truly hopeful life.
Dave Sloan is the Executive Director of the Saint John Paul II Legacy Foundation. He has spoken around the world on the Theology of the Body and led mission trips to serve the homeless in the US and orphans in Mexico. His central theme is that the Jesus story is a joy story and ought to be told that way.
