Meet the Co-Hosts

Allison Dalloul

Allison Dalloul was born in Amsterdam, New York, as the third of four daughters in a loving family. Her incredible parents, Vic and Pat Gerdvil, have been a shining example of sacrificial love throughout her life. As a single mom, Allison is blessed with three beautiful children: Mary (14), Yousef (12), and Sarah (10). Allison’s journey of faith began as a cradle Catholic, attending Mass regularly but not fully understanding the depth of her beliefs until college. A pivotal moment came when she ended an engagement with a Pentecostal gentleman, which prompted her to explore her faith more deeply. This exploration led her to the National Catholic Family Conference in Anaheim, California, where her passion for Catholicism was ignited by the powerful testimonies of converts like Scott Hahn, Tim Staples, and Fr. Calloway.

Beyond her faith journey, Allison enjoys playing pickleball, swimming, and traveling, especially to Florida and abroad. She has been fortunate to visit holy and historic places in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Croatia, and France. Watching her children participate in sports such as girls’ flag football, soccer, basketball, and volleyball brings her immense joy. Her involvement in the Church includes sponsoring new members, teaching Sunday School to first graders, and assisting with the Divorced Catholics Ministry at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Woodstock, Georgia, where she is a parishioner.

Professionally, Allison spent two years in mortgage lending and 19 years with Lenox China, where she served as the “eyes and ears” for the Atlanta market, promoting and selling their fine tabletop and giftware throughout the Southeast.

Working at AM 1160 The Quest as the cohost of The Morning Quest, Allison realizes that all her experiences have brought her to this moment. The opportunity to share the faith of the Catholic Church and spread the joy of the Lord is at the core of who she is and how she wants to serve her Savior. Her hope for The Morning Quest is for the show to inform listeners about the Catholic Church and inspire them to find joy in the journey of faith.

Josh Harris

Josh Harris grew up in a mixed-faith household. Originally raised Jewish, his religious pursuits fell by the wayside after his parents’ divorce at nine. Longing for community, acceptance, and escape, Josh struggled with addiction from high school until he was 23. By God’s grace and through a twelve-step recovery program, Josh has been sober since August 2008. He was sponsored by a Catholic man who gently led him to Catholicism and eventually sponsored him in RCIA. As Josh crossed the Tiber, AM 1160 The Quest was a regular dial point, providing “mobile catechesis” when he desperately needed to know the riches of the faith. His testimony was later televised on EWTN’s Catholics Come Home. As someone whose faith journey was radically impacted by Catholic radio, Josh is thrilled to co-host The Morning Quest and hopes the program can provide a daily dose of joy, faith, and fun to each listener.

Josh is also a nationally televised billboard-charting clean comedian and Christian music producer. As a comic, he was a finalist on NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity, hit #3 on iTunes Comedy, and had his comedy broadcasted on SIRIUS XM’s clean station Pure Laughs. His comedy fundraiser, Laughs for Life, raised over $17,500 for the Pregnancy Aid Clinic.

As a songwriter and producer for his project Joshua’s Giants, his song “Love Won’t Let Me Go” (Acoustic Version) with Grammy winner Joe L Barnes from Maverick City Music hit #36 on the Billboard Christian Radio Charts. His music videos have also been broadcast on EWTN. Many Respect Life charities have used his music to raise money and awareness, helping women choose life.

Josh holds a Master of Arts in Philosophical Studies for Missionary Discipleship from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary. He gives all the credit to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the source of his peace, passion, and purpose.
